I have to admit when Budweiser introduced the Bud Frogs and Louis the Lizard I thought that they couldn't possibly think of anything funnier; boy was I wrong. It is such a simple concept, yet WASSUP!!! has taken over the home, the work place, and everyday life! As soon as the advert comes on I reach for the remote to pump up the volume and enjoy.
The best WASSUP out of the group has to the guy on the Internet, who is also in the WASSAMI ad as well. But I suppose everyone has their own favourite. It is unbelievable that this has grown so huge, with spin offs flying out left right and centre, I have already had a granny version, a cartoon superheroes version, a Star Wars version ands a Jaws version!! Will the madness never stop!!
I can see this advert hitting the hall of fame almost without a doubt, and the guys in the adverts hitting a movie screen near you.
The only problem with this advert is the shelf life, as with the popular series of Louis vs. the Frogs you were dying to see the next one to find out what was going to happen next, with WASSUP you get the general idea straight away. Also, even though the adverts are funny every time you see them, it is not however as funny when everyone around you is doing it and thinking that they sound just as funny. Well I can tell you people ITS NOT FUNNY OR CLEVER!!!!!
Ahhhh now that I have that out of my system all I have to say is, boys keep up the good work!!
