Advantages: Loads Of Channels, Interactive is handy, fairly priced

Disadvantages: too many adverts, poor customer services

Sky is a gift from the Gods!

We got Sky digital in our house within a couple of weeks of it coming out and my life hasn't been the same since.

The top package is fairly cheap at about 38 pounds a month and you get so much viewing pleasure for your money and there are usually deals on installation aswell, however my mum now works at the Sky call centre in Livingston and we not only get all the channels for free but get box office for half price as well.

But since even my dim witted mother works there it is fair to say their customer services etc are a bit of a joke as I hear many a story of incompitent workers and all that jazz!

There are houndreds of channels to choose from, ranging from 24h news to cartoon channels, Fox Kids being my favourite lol, I love Spiderman and all that crap, just a big kid.

Not only to you get to see the brand new episodes of all your favourite programmes but you also get to see all you old favourites like Knightrider, Cheers etc.

They now have many interactive features like on-line shopping and banking and even e-mail. There are also quite a few games on it now but most of them have now turned into a bit of a rip off because you have to pay to play them and stuff like that.

Another minor grumble I have about Sky is that there are far too many adverts and they last far too long but thats just the way everything is going these days which is sad to see, but I do object to so many on the music channels and even though there are so many of them all the adverts come on at the same time annoyingly!!!

So thats Sky in a nut shell, loads of viewing, loads of adverts and their customer service tends to be balls but I couldn't live without it now.
