Advantages: The punchline does pay off....

Disadvantages: ....only for the first six or seven times.

A beautifully shot and recreation of rural France (presumably early 20th century), this is the one with the
flower seller who wants to drink some Stella Artois (one in a series of four, if I remember correctly).

The flower seller parks his cart of flowers and stops outside a pub and addresses the landlord, he allows him into the pub and he sits there. The landlord goes behind the bar and the flower seller is rooting for change in his pockets. The soundtrack is put to good use as it conveys the mood very well. We then see the next shot with the flower seller on his own supping some Stella. And the landlord is laughing.

Gradually, it is revealed that the pub is decorated solely by the flower seller’s flowers.

Not the best in the series (that honour should go to the Van Gogh one) but is certainly very good stuff.
