Crayola Supertips Wallet
Advantages: Plenty of colours, great pens, washable
I used to always have art supplies from Crayola when I was a child and now I insist on my daughters having this brand too, I like the fact they are such great quality but they are also washable which is fantastic.
My eldest daughter uses pens near enough every day although her sister is only allowed to use pencils with her only being 2 and me valuing my walls. We go through a lot of the pens even though they last a good length of time so when I saw this set on offer at £7.49 half price in Argos I decided to buy it and put it away for Christmas for her. The usual selling price for these is £11.99 with free delivery from Amazon.
The pens came in a plastic wallet which fastened with 2 white press studs although we have transferred the pens into a pencil case with the remainder of the other packs of pens she has had. There was a piece of cardboard in the front of the wallet showing a drawing of a colourful pattern and the fact that there were 30 pens in the set and that was it as far as packaging goes.
There were 30 pens in the set which is great and means that she has got a lot more colour choice from this set than the usual supertips set which come in a box of 12 or the pip squeak markers. The colours are all your basic ones plus there are many other shades in between although of course some will get used more than others. The pens are simply white plastic with a coloured end and top which simply pushes on, they don't have the Crayola logo on them like the other pens we have had always had.
Also in the set you get a sketchpad with 40 sheets in it which is great as it is bound and the pages don't fall out but they are easy to tear out when Sophie has drawn a picture. The paper is bright white in colour and really great quality and of a nice thickness so that the pens don't soak through the paper which is often a problem when using felt tips.
The whole set is great quality and I am really pleased with it especially when I got it so cheap, Sophie is really impressed with the pens as there are so many colours in the set and she loves drawing pictures with them, well recommended.
