I often think i would love to have a 'eureka' moment when i come up with an idea that would revolutionise not only mine but other peoples lives but alas to date i have not.

However I do believe Crayola have done it worth their latest range of twistable. I have bought both the Crayons and Felt tips and have not yet regretted buying either. The crayons have a tough outer plastic sheath protecting the crayon within, which does not snap even when trod on, driven over and used as a drumstick.

They come in 12 funky colours and don't need sharpening just winding which also saves on mess. My daughter calls them her 'special colours' as she thinks they are grown up ones because they feel more like pens rather than a child's crayon which adds to the attraction.

They are quite reasonable priced too especially when you factor in they don't break as often. The plastic case is also quite hardwearing so can be used for quite a while encouraging your child to replace ALL the colours when finished colouring in.

Although not reviewing the felts the twisting action removes the need for lids and therefore stops that annoying 'where is the yellow lid' search and so keeps the felts moist for longer. It also takes away the dangers on lids being swallowed or stuck into other places they should not (ear, nose etc).
