Advantages: Saves some mess and breakage

Disadvantages: Not re fillable

Right I'm back into reviewing again. Since the birth of my daughter last week my son has had the pleasure in also being spoilt with various gifts. These Crayola twistables I had purchased several weeks ago from Asda. They were on offer with various other stationary items at about £1.20.

So what are they? Crayola as you know if the most famous make of crayon paint and pencils related to children. These Crayola twistables are crayons with a difference. They look more like pens as each individual crayon is in it's own plastic pen style that is twistable so as soon as a crayon has been worn down you simply twist the end to reveal more crayon. It saves the mess made from smaller crayons and bits of paper being left which you rip away when the crayon runs low. No more broken crayon halves being found around childs room.

Each twistable is about 3 times the length of an average crayon. They come in a plastic wallet so can easily be kept together.
Crayola describes them as a wax pencil with an added twist.
They are not suitable from under 3 years of age.

Each pack contains 12 crayons of varying colours. My son loves using these however they are not thin like pencils so when colouring he does tend to go over the lines where they are thicker like crayons are.
If you still can't picture how these work they are the same style as the lead pencils which you can refill the lead bits with and twist the bottom to reveal more lead.

I am glad I got him these now. The only down fall will be when they run out they aren't
refillable, but seeing as I got them on offer anyway I would buy some more.

Summary: What a good idea these are.
