      will make painting easier

I bought these ELC Non Spill Paint Pots for when I did painting with my three year old cousin. These looked ideal as it saved us from clearing up a huge mess.

The set includes six paint pots with lids. Ours are from a few years ago and include lids which are red, blue, green, yellow, black and white. These are ideal colours as they are the same as the colour paints we had.

The pot is clear so you can see what colour paint is stored inside. We always put the same colour lid on the paint as it is easier to see the lid than the paint inside.

The pots are quite small but store a lot of paint. If they are knocked over you won't get paint all over the place but I always pick it up quickly just in case.

The lids pull off and push on easily. They have a twisting lid with a hole in. This is where the paintbrush goes. The hole fits small paintbrushes in easily but it can be trickier for chunky ones. When the paintbrush is pulled out of the pot it brushes against the lid and takes some paint off. This is great as it is harder for children to make a wet blobby picture. Less messy as well!

When the painting is finished the lid can be twisted so the hole is covered. This keeps the paint wet and it will be useable again. It doesn't last more than a day or so though as the lid is not sealed really tight, just tight enough.

The pots are nice and strong and we haven't broken any yet.

The pots are £4 on ELC which is a good price for these useful pots. They are for children aged two and over, this is probably because if the hand eye coordination required to get the brush in the hole.

I am very glad we bought these as they are useful at lowering the mess made and keeping paint for longer.
