My 8 year old is always complaining we never make things together so this Christmas I got him a surprise! A potters wheel, It was very reasonable at £12 from Fun Creations and looked really easy as it said suitable for children from 8 up, so I thought no problem………… It required no assembly and comes with a foot pedal and two bags of clay and 10 different glaze paints. You need one D size batteries and off you go! the clay is ready mixed so according to the instructions you take on small piece an inch in diameter and roll into a ball, slap onto your wheel and off you go.
