Last week my youngest daughter turned four and my eldest wanted to buy her a little present. I took her to the local Home and Bargain as it is quite a good place to pick up some nice little toys at a decent price. My daughter spotted this set of four Play-doh tubs (520g) for £1.99†and decided to buy it for her little sister. The product is presented in bright yellow cardboard packaging, which of course can be easily recycled. The †Play-Doh logo is clearly displayed on the front along with pictures of various play doh creations, these included a dog, an apple, a hot air balloon and a rainbow. A red circle at the side contains a photo of the four tubs. In the ... Read the complete review

I hadn't considered buying my daughter Play-Doh until last week when we went on a caravan holiday. In the evenings my daughter was looking for something to play with and due to limited space in the car I didn't take a wide selection. I picked up a pack of 10 small pots of Play-Doh in a box for £4 in Tesco. The box contained pink, red, orange, purple, black, white, teal, green, blue and light green. Each pot is a medium size and contains half of the size of a full tub of Play-Doh, it doesn't state the weight on the tub. Play-Doh is made by Hasbro and is described as a modelling compound. I remember playing with it as a child and I really like it's ... Read the complete review

My daughter is almost a year and a half and although play doh is designed primarily for children aged 2+, a few months ago, I picked up a a tub of pink playdough in Tesco for 80p, and I thought I would keep it in the cupboard for a rainy afternoon. Well, one such afternoon came rather quickly after that and I brought out the tub of playdoh, along with an old placemat, and let my daughter have her first go with playdoh and she loved it. Play doh is a well known brand and something that most children love to play and experiment with, and I also think it is good for motor skills and imaginative play. Now, at 17 months, my daughter doesn't have the ... Read the complete review

My son was never been keen on doing anything that involves getting his hands sticky or dirty including using glue, paint etc. His nursery teacher had mentioned that he had become amused by Play Doh and whilst looking for bits and pieces for his Christmas stocking, I decided to buy him a few tubs of Play Doh. I always loved playing with Play Doh as a child and knew that both of us could have some fun with it! He has also become more interested in painting too so I was able to fill up a stocking full of crafty bits. ~Play Doh~ You can buy different brands of Play Doh but I will be focussing on the Hasbro brand which seems to be most popular and widely ... As I'm sure most people are aware, Play-Doh is a mouldable substance that is essentially the same as flour and water mixed together, only with added colour. It's a toy that most kids have probably had at some point, and most parents have probably had to remove from clothing, carpets and other materials! I recently purchased some of this to use as part of a project for college, and found that it now comes in even more colours than it used to when I was a child. The colours that I actually bought included yellow, red, blue, green, brown, white and black. What I actually used it for was to build a scene from a photograph, but in a three-dimensional form, and this ... Read the complete review
