I have always enjoyed making cards with rubber stamps so I was rather excited to see these Me to You Tatty Teddy stamps being released. The cute Tatty Ted image is perfect for any occasion and who doesn't love this little bear!
The stamps are a brilliant quality with the rubber being a good thickness to give a clear print. The picture on the rubber is very detailed and includes all the small bits of fur the bears have in pictures. As all the fur is on so closely you must clean them thoroughly after use so the ink doesn't build up in between. The wood is strong and easy to hold. It is covered with a thin layer of clear plastic so you can see a coloured version of the image and it is useful to wipe any ink or dirt off easily.
There are many different images available to buy at varying sizes. Some smaller ones include an image looking down on tatty teddy, tatty teds head and two messages 'Just for You' and 'With Love X'. I use the with love stamp quite often as it can be used with any cards and not necessarily just with the Tatty Ted craft items.
Some slightly larger stamps include Tatty Ted thinking and him (or her) holding a heart shape lollipop. This is a good one for Valentines day.
Some medium sized stamps include images of tatty ted with itself leaning into a big party bag wearing a party hat, itself covered in ties (I like this one as it is good for mens cards and it is hard to find anything to put on mens cards), tatty ted thinking (but sat down this time), holding a birthday present surrounded by balloons (I use this one frequently as it is great for birthday cards), holding his arms out for a hug, holding a star above its head (I have shrunk this one using shrink plastic and stuck it on top of a Christmas tree image on a card which looked cute) and tatty ted cooking which is great for a mothers day card.
The large ones include tatty ted holding toppling presents and a pile of flowerpots. There is also a 'Happy Birthday' stamp I like using as I like the style of writing it is in as it looks a fun style.
The images are great for cards and scrapbooking and there are some more which were brought out at Christmas and Easter like the one in the picture. Although I have loads of stamps I always choose a Tatty ted one for the majority of my cards. They look great everytime.
They are easy to stamp a clear image and usually just need a bit of colour to make them the centrepiece of a card.
