      Needs more stickers

Both my daughters are big Peppa Pig fans and they also love anything creative, we are lucky that we have about 3 different discount style stores near to our home and they sell items like this for £1 a time. I think items like this are great value and I always have a stock of them tucked away so if either of my girls have been particularily good then they can have a little treat.

The pad is A4 in size and the front cover is a thin shiny card, on the front at the top you have the Peppa Pig logo and underneath there is a picture of Peppa and George and the statement "with lots of reusable stickers"

Inside the book you get one sheets of stickers which I actually think is really poor, on the sheet you get 16 stickers of Peppa Pig and other characters from the TV show. After the sheet of stickers there are 15 different pages which are all scenes from the show but have only one of no character on each page the idea being that you will use the stickers to complete the pictures.

The scenes are all well know areas such as in Peppa's bedroom, at the beach, at the ice cream cart and in the park. The stickers are easy to remove from the sheet and place onto the scenes but my daughter doesn't like having to use the same stickers for different pages she wants to have enough stickers for them to stay on the pages. The stickers are reusable if you do it quite quickly, we have found that if my daughter makes a picture and then doesn't return to the book for a couple of days getting the stickers off the page is actually pretty hard and we have had a couple of stickers tear because of it.

My daughter has ended up using the stickers from another set she had to complete the book and she is happy with this so I would say if you are buying this try and buy some extra stickers too. At £1 the book is good value and of course your child can draw on the scenes too.

I brought this sticker book from my local £1 shop for and as both my son and daughter are Peppa pig mad I brought them one each. I believe it has a RRP of £3.99 but I would definitely shop around to try finding it cheaper. It has a recommended age for 3+ due to small parts and a chocking hazard but I sat with my 20 month old and used it with her fine.

It's an A4 size and has a picture of Peppa and George on the front with a ball and clearly with lots of reusable stickers. Once you open the pad the first page are the stickers. There is just one page of 16 stickers some large and some small but it has a wide range of characters including grandma pig mummy and daddy pig and of course George and Peppa.

There are around 15 different scenes throughout the pad including Peppa and Georges bedroom, grandma and grandpas vegetable patch and there school. These scenes also already have characters such as Danny dog and Suzie sheep to help children use imagination to make up stories with the stickers.

I personally believe there could have done with a few more stickers but at a £1 you can not go wrong. My children managed to move the stickers around about 3 times but they did get frustrated as they would tear. At that point its not then useless as it can then be used for a drawing pad so rather than using stickers children can draw added pictures to the sets already made up. This gives it even more value for money.
It is not as good as the story sticker books from Peppa pig but kept my children entertained for a good while so a thumbs up from me.

My daughter loves anything Peppa as you may have guessed by some of my reviews so when she saw this combination of Peppa and stickers in the local £1 shop she "had to have it" - I am sure you can understand that to a 4 year old this is a life or death situation!

The sticker pad has a picture of Peppa Pig and George on the front, playing with a ball on a hill outside their home. It has the Peppa Pig logo on the front and the title "Peppa Pig's Sticker Pad". It is A4 size and has one page full of Peppa Pig reusable stickers. Other pages include coloured pictures for you to stick the stickers on to and include the living room, the beach, the garden and a swimming pool.

Do note that this is only a sticker pad and doesn't have any other activites to do other than sticking the stickers on different scenes. The stickers are very good in that they are very reusable and have not lost their stickiness considering my daughter has used this pad a good few times over the last 4 or 5 months. The stickers are very well made and do not rip or tear easily though they may do if this is given to a young child who just doesn't have any patience.

Both the stickers and the scenes are very colourful and all are exact replicas of things you will see in the programme. They all look exactly right and my daughter recognised everything straight away.

Inside the pad there is a nice thick piece of card which my daughter used as something to lean on when she wanted to sit on the sofa and do her sticker scenes in the book.

My daughter has made some lovely scenes with the stickers from this pad and she has removed some from the pad (which is very easily done as the pad is only held together with that gummed solution) and we have put them up in little frames for her bedroom so she has a picture scene she has created.

Definately worth the £1 spent on it and is great for those rainy days when you can't do anything other than stay inside. Highly recommended.

        Recommended at the right price

I bought my son a Peppa pig sticker pad for one pound from you guessed it a pound shop. I do find that stickers do tend to get everywhere and so have bought sticker books but the reason I was attracted to this book was I did feel it was something very different.

The book is the size of an A4 pad and has one full A4 page of stickers which has 16 stickers of Peppa and family in various situations. It is also filled with coloured pictured which already contain the characters from the Peppa pig show .Scenes include rooms at home, the swimming pool and the beach.

The book does come with a very thick piece of card which is unusual but ideal for when little ones want to sit on the sofa and colour or the car where there is no hard surface to lean on. The pages are attached at the top with glue gum so would be easy to remove pictures if there were pictures you wanted to display. The paper is quite thick so less likely to crumple when been coloured with rough hands. It does the stickers are reusable and a couple of months after been applied they are still easy enough to remove and do reattach.

I bought this for my three year old son and also for my neighbours tow girls aged two and four. It has been enjoyed by all. My son does enjoy doing these activities with his mummy and is very particular that the sticker does fit the appropriate scene however he refuses to add anything to it so since the stickers are complete and he won't draw it remains now part of a pointless collection of completed activities I own. The girls next door have not only covered the book with sticker but also added their own design and got far more use out of it.

The book is recommended for children aged from 3 to six years of age. My two year old neighbour did complete the book with no problems but I do think you need to assess the individual Childs ability. My son has loved Peppa Pig for nearly two years and would be surprised if he was remotely interested in anything with a Peppa pig picture on by the time he is six years old.

The book has a RRP of £3.99 and would of been disappointed if I had paid nearly four pounds for my son to stick a few stickers on but for £1 it was a great activity to pass some time .It did also make my son think about experiences and situations and actually sticking the stickers does help develop fine motor skills.

Amazon do stock this book for £2.85 with free postage and packaging .While this has not been an overused book by us, I would think that it is a great activity for a rainy day for a Peppa pig fan if you can find it for £1.
