Like most people I had not heard of playmais in until a week ago when it was pouring with rain and we where visiting my mother in law and she brought out a box of playmais.
To me it looked like she had brought out snack to shut the kids up as playmais looks like large different coloured wotsits.

Grandma explain to my 3 and 4 yr old how playmias works and they where away, they didn't make any thing really special but they had great fun using them, my husband on the other hand got a little competitive with his sister seeing who could make the best model (when will they grow up)

Playmais advertises it self and very eco friendly as it is crafted from non GM maize and manufactured in Germany using bio fuel in a factory where food, animal and organic waste is used to power the manufacturing plant.

So what do u do with playmais:
Playmais does look like giant wotsits that you model with, no glue is required as just a small amount of water activates the starch in the maize to form a glue which will stick many surfaces, car, glass and off course other playmias.

Playmais is great for all ages over 3 as they will all find some thing to do with it, from just learning to but the pieces together to making a major model.

A box of playmais cost my mother in law £4.99 from amazon which i think is a great price

lots of fun but best to keep well away from younger kids as they will think they are food
