      Disadvantages

Brilliant creative product for all ages.

      @ About @

For about £4 you can get 4 tubs of ELC soft stuff. And that's good value for money. Each tub is filled with a reasonable amount of "Soft Stuff" and each put has a an imprint on the bottom. Blue has a flower and farmer, orange has a sheep and tree, green has a cow and a farm house, pink has a chicken and another tree. The tubs are made from thick plastic and the lids are colours coded to the stuff inside.

On the labels there are health warnings written in every language but English. It also warns that this play dough stains, so don't get it near any walls or clothes. Great of course, if your child is playing with it wearing clothes you don't want to stain... Make sure they are wearing a painting shirt or some rough trousers when they play with this dough.

      @ Smell, texture, miscellaneous @

The dough has a sweet smell to it, almost like rubber but after a while really gets up your nose. The dough is hard when you first open the tub but once you warm it through by moulding it in your hands it becomes much easier to use and more squishy. It is smooth to touch and requires a little effort to mould at first. The dough can easily be torn apart and mashed back together but simply sticking smooth dough on smooth dough won't work. You have to mould the two bits together to get them to stay stuck together.

When left out over night for about 12 hours the dough is hard but can be moulded into shape and warmed up - once warmed up it will take a while to get back to it's original softness but won't be permanently rock hard. The dough will also stick to your wall very easily and if left to go hard on your wall can be an absolute nightmare to get it off again. Not to mention it will get blue all over the paint, and that's permanent because it stains so wash it off quickly.

      @ Overall @

This is a great product for young children and for £4 you do get a lot of your money, four pots is more than enough to build a few people and make skyscrapers out of dough and really, it's just a lot of fun. Adults are not that into play dough, it's more for kids but its not like a children's computer game or a vetch laptop where it only interests kids, adults can still make things out of play dough because it's constructive the same reason they make adult Lego kits.

A perfect product, and at a very reasonable price.
