“ Manufacturer: Tim Holtz / Type: Decorating „
As you can probably tell from my reviews I am a paper craft addict- there is no other way to describe my absolute love and excitement over card paper, glitter, gems, ribbon and the like. The possibilities for creativity are endless and I cannot ever resist a crafty purchase. My house is bulging at the seams with most rooms having a few of my goodies concealed somewhere. I have a particular soft spot for Tim Holtz products -(the man himself is a creative genius!).
Tim Holtz Kraft resist papers are thick brown papers which have a black printed and watermarked design that almost looks stamped and will resist inks, sprays and stains creating a truly beautiful effect. I like to use my Tim Holtz ink pads to change the colour of the papers to co-ordinate with my projects and as the watermark design resists the ink it looks really stunning.
I have used my papers to make cards and scrapbook pages, but they would also look lovely on altered art projects. These papers work beautifully both alone and with other products in the Tim Holtz range such as the embellishments, inks, stains, and sprays. The papers look beautiful with torn edges either torn by hand or with a tearing ruler and then the tears inked.
You get 24 sheets in a pack 3 of each of the 8 designs. They are widely available from craft shops and online and a pack costs around £15. There are several different packs to choose from I have the one pictured but they also do Halloween Haunts and Christmas Memories.
The main disadvantage for me of this paper pack is that some of the designs are far harder to use than others such as the dress making one and the world. However I simply see this as a challenge to my creativity.
However I do love the ones with writing or printed text and the butterfly sheet is gorgeous and matches beautifully with the stamps Tim Holtz produced with Stampers Anoymous -PAPILLON CMS106 Butterfly (Another must buy!). Consequently I have brought this paper pack several times and highly recommend it.
