      the best ink for crafts

Whenever I am making cards I always find myself using the StazOn ink pads.

The ink pads can be bought in a range of colours and shades including pink, purple, blue, red, green and most other colours. The colour I use most is black as I like my stamped images to have a black outline to make the image stand out more after I have coloured it in.

The pad which the ink is in is hard unlike other ink pads which are usually spongy. As it's hard you can press however heavy or light as the ink doesn't rush out all over the place.

To release the ink you gently tap it onto the stamp and it doesn't take long until it is covered. When the rubber stamp is pressed on paper the ink never fails and you are left with a bold print.

The ink is permanent so unlike other inks, it can be used on shiny surfaces like plastic. I have used this ink on shrink plastic before and it worked no different than if it was paper.

The ink doesn't take longer than a few seconds to dry but if you touch it straight away you can get in a bit of a mess.

The ink is easy to wash off of the rubber stamps and will come off with water alone. This is not the case if you leave the ink to dry on the stamp so i'd wash them straight away if you want a clean stamp.

The ink has a plastic cover on top of the ink inside the outer plastic lid. This keeps the ink from drying out.

The ink lasts for a very long time as I don't know when I bought the current one I am using. It is still working as good as new.

I think StazOn do the best quality ink for rubber stamping. The fact that they are permanent means they are best to use for all surfaces.
