Amazon Market place is the one for me (amazon.co.uk Auctions)

Advantages: not charged any fees until the item has sold, Amazon collects the fees , after 60 days can relist the item Disadvantages: the fees could be lower
Having decided to have a clear out of all the novels I'd collected over the years. I decided I'd try and sell them.I'd tried Ebay not having had much success someone suggested I tried Amazon. To my surprise,I found I was having success in selling the novels,I no longer wanted. I did have trouble in setting up an account, but eventually I had my account open. You do need a bank account, then when someone buys something from you, Amazon collects it and pays it into your nominated account. This normally happens every few weeks. Although I have never requested it, I think you can have the funds put into your account quicker. Unlike some auction sites, you know your going to receive the money. Amazon informs you when an item has been sold via email. Included is an address label, so all you have to do is print it off. You are charged a fee once the item has been sold. The fees vary, to find out how much your going to be charged is quite simple. Once you've logged onto your account, adding your email address and password, you then go to books, It isn't only books you can sell, DVD's Video's, and computer games play station games, computer software, and various other items. So for example if your selling a book, put in the ISBN number, which is normally found on the back cover. Then a page will open asking what condition the item is in, based on what you have entered it will give you a suggested selling price. You can of course put in what you want for the item. It will then tell you how much you will get once the item has sold. I admit it sounds rather daunting. But your soon get the hang of it. I also suggest if other sellers are selling the item for less than you want. It's likely they will have a buyer before you! The item is listed for 60 days, if it hasn't sold you can then re-list it, for another 60 days. Amazon don't charge any fees until the item has sold. Good luck and hope this review has been of some use to you. Summary: |
