      CYBERSOURCE is a BAD IDEA for Online Merchants

      Our online magazine has been dicked around by Cybersource since 2004. The support system they have has practically faded and it appears that we are just another number. Instead of providing hands-on service to make sure their customers are happy, they provide us with an irritable email support system that is inadequate. When we complained that we want to talk to someone when there is a problem they said our account does not qualify to get live support. HELLO? There is no direct help when you need it, and after cursing them for the umpteeth time (finally being able to lodge my complaints with that useless Trish Martin, VP Customer Support) they decided to lock our account - so all this week we have not been able to access our clients accounts to check problems associated with recurring subscriptions. They haven't helped our company at all, in fact, they have cost us a LOT of time and money. This week we will be changing to another payment gateway. DO NOT patronize Cybersource. You will regret that you did and you'll be inundated with problems. They need to realize that the customer comes first and that we have a choice whether to patronize their business... AND because they have ticked me off so much I am now spreading this news to everyone over the internet until I get an apology from them.

        NIGHTMARE on BIDPAY! Please do not attempt to use this service. Unless, you have an hr to give for filling out every detail! BIDPAY has charge my account 4 times, never accepted my payment approval on top of that! Everything matched. I never use bidpay ONLY paypal but seller ask for this payment option. This service is slow & overcharges account! BEWARE! eBay member since 2000. Go with Paypal.com. I'm saving you $ & time

        Stay away and find another way to pay.

        I signed up for a BidPay account in February 2007 as an Ebay Powerseller. They charged my Bank account and my creditcard $1.- each to verify my identity. 6 weeks later someone paid into my account for an auction and my account got frozen to "verify" my identity. After 3 days someone called and wrote an e-mail requesting dozens of documents to fax since my creditcard did not match my address. The creditcard company confirmed the correct address on file. I called BidPay to be treated very rude and unprofessionell. This company could have been a nice alternative to PayPal however the way they work they are just another company we could all do without. Stay away from them !!!

        I wait 8 days for this company denied/approved but just lie.For example, look my customer sevices reply for learn what can lie BidPay.Never use this payment method if you didnt want to wait and lie.

          How Bidpay are unhelpful, imcompetent and do not send money owed to you

          This so called company must be a mickey mouse, made up company. They kept insisting that they would they would get the buyer to send me a cheque which he owed for an item I sent to him. This company are so dismal, they sent me two or three unhelpul emails a day informing me that they would send the payment and never did. Once I arranged with them to wait for them at my flat, I waited for 30 minutes they never turned up and said the agent had an accident. What a lame excuse. This reeks of unproffessionalism and sheer incompetent employees (must be idiots working for them, how the hell do thick people get such jobs?). I therefore emailed them a very snotty letter containing swear words ( I never swear) telling them they were incompetent, unhelpful and liars, they have not replied. Need I say more? Do not ever use this service, put the fascists out of business, that's how some rich folk get richer, by conning others..

          someone just tried to by a phone off me r BIDPAY still operational or r they not could any body let me know is this save or is it not dose anybody know pls help sent them an e-mail no reply yet still trying .Not sure what to do .dont trust this had no reply had the postal confirmation e-mail and another e-mail to get me to send the item how do i know the postal orders will be sent do the tell you how can they if the thing is closed down

            BidPay no longer exists. help

            From the Bidpay.com website:

            Effective December 31, 2005, BidPay.com, Inc. will be discontinuing operations. As a result, BidPay will no longer offer payment services to the online auction industry. We regret any inconvenience to our users and thank them for their loyal patronage. Customer service will remain available at bidpayservice@bidpay.com through the month of February.

            I am involved with an auctioneer (Shooting Star Auctions) originally on E-Bay who was auctioning an iPod. I won the auction. My payment to the auctioneer was made through bidPay. the transaction went through in three days
            .
            However, Shooting Star Auctions was not able to send the product, so a refund process was started. Eventually, they made an order to be sent through BidPay. That order was sent on Dec. 27th (according to Shooting Star Auctions) and an order number was given.

            However, with the new message shown above in this review, I am not sure if I (or many other users) will get their refund back.
            So...Bidpay.com gets a total thumbs down.

              Bidpay doesnt protect the buyer!

              I have used Bidpay on 2 occasions. The first time it went well mainly because the seller did everything they said they would and sent the product out. On the second time I had a problem with the seller shipping the product (he didnt). According to Bidpay that was my "tough luck". NEVER had a problem with Paypal and I have done over 500 transaction. I will never do another transaction with Bidpay and I tell all buyers to beware when a seller will only accept Bidpay! Beware!

                Be forwarned..PayPal + Ebay leads to intrusion & other bad things

                We were members, buyers & sellers with PayPal for 4 years. Periodically,. Now, pwoplw who have been we would hear abt someone we knew having their account "restricted" or "limited" & they always said they didn't know why this happened to them. Well, my husband & I felt bad for them, but we always figured they had broken some minor infraction & they were just too emb. to admit it. Well, wake up call
                DING DING DING!!! My husband & I buy & sell on approx. 1500 auctions in a month. We try to be organized & always have paid our invoices within 5 days of rcct. We always give people plenty of time to pay us b/c we understand that circumstanmces are circumstances. We also have many repeat buyers & we know who we should be paid up front & who we should wait for pmt before shipping. Well, there we were, paying our invoices, rec our pmts, when suddenly, our accts are LIMITED. We tried calling & we were told that the dept of limitations does not take phone calls, but I could email them & when they got to it they might respond! On top of that we each had abt $500.00 in each account . They claim they can hold it for 180 days. Then they started reversing our payments to dealers & not allowing payments to come in. They would not even tell us why they were limiting our accts. Well, we had pd. approx 500 people over a course of 3 weeks. they reversed every one! and they froze the money in the PayPal accts. Then they started taking money out of out checking accts to reverse payments that people had made to us!We actually had to close our checking accts. My acct was the one most affect & my user name b/c that was what we were usaing that month. We take turns paying & sorting payments. So, I got so many strikes against my name in 4 weeks, after never having 1, that I took my name off & basically started over. A friend told my husband abt. BidPay. They have been abs. terrific, very easy to work with & very non intrusive. And when we added up what it cost to use PayPal vs BidPay, there was no contest. They charge the buyer a minimal fee which we deduct from S & H. They even picked up a duplicate invoice that we paid. When this part not nice person auctioned something & claimed we didn't pay for it, all Ihad to do was click a tab on the computer & presto there was the infor which I sewnt to the seller & Ebay.
                So, check it out. Even if you don't use it, sign up for it. It doesn't cost a thing to say you accept it & you never know when you might be the one who PayPal decides to limit.
                Be aware! PayPal has so much info abt us that they can literally dip into our checking acct.
                So, there is my saga. If you are unfamiliar w/ Ebay or auctions online this will be meaningless, but if you are please be careful & do not get sucked in by the 3.28% interest.

                I have been using BidPay or AuctionPayments for two years. And my latest experience prompted me to steer clear of this auction payment service if at all possible. I will give you several good reasons why you shouldn't use BidPay or AuctionPayments. (1) It took the company "21 days" to approve my payment request--Grace period? No way! Totally unacceptable. (2) My "repeated" request for cancellation of the "pending" payment was IGNORED and the payment was mailed out 21 days later before I knew it. As a result, I ended up making two payments for the same item. Then, it took me weeks to get my excess payment back from the seller. (3) The company DIDN'T answer any of my e-mails inquiring the status of my payment order in the 21-day period. (4) Company reps. contacted me after all harm (financially and psychologically) was done. Each time I send email, a different person answers with a "standard, pre-formatted" reply. They refuse to admit that it's their fault. They are very evasive and decline to discuss a refund of the extra cost I had to bear in sending the eBay seller an alternative payment myself. I really question the integrity of this company as business. Compared with BidPay or AuctioinPayments, even PayPal looks like heaven!

                  Why O why didn't I read the reviews before using Bidpay? If I had I wouldn?t be writing this. I bought the money order on Wednesday all the details were correct and they quickly confirmed this. I checked the site to see how things were progressing on Thursday morning. They were awaiting approval or so it said in order enquires. I emailed them to ask what was wrong, NO response. I emailed again on Friday again no response. On Monday I still had not received a response. I checked what awaiting approval meant in the FAQ, it means they are awaiting approval form my bank. I got on to the bank they told me that they had approved Bidpay for the $500 + on Wednesday. Another thing that pisses me off is the fact that I in an effort to speed up payment to the seller I had paid Bidpay for fast priority mail, no use putting jet fuel into a steamroller. Avoid this bunch of wasters if you can.

                    I have had two problems in the last two weeks with bidpay. The first problem was mostly my fault because I had sent two money orders out to the same person. He contacted them to send it back and have it returned to me but they did not write him for five days. He just cashed it and sent it to my account, which was very nice of hime. Then I sent a money order out and after six days of no approval and writing bidpay precisely 11 times I decided that since its status was unapproved that I could go ahead and follow their procedure cancel that one and send another. I wrote the correct department about the cancellation and sent another. Six days after that both money orders were approved even after about six more cancellation reviews. I have been writing them for eleven days and not gotten a response. I do not expect a response immediately but twelve days is ridiculous and now they have double charged me even though I cancelled one while it was still pending approval. I am still waiting as is my seller who lives in china. It was difficult to explain to the nice man since I do not read or speak any chinese and he does not speak much english. He will send it back to them when he recieves it but they have not even e-mailed him yet even though both were approved to days ago. If they even manage to send them which I hope they will it will take two weeks. This means I will not get the refund on the double charge for four weeks. During the christmas giving season is an assanine time to attempt to merge with anyone if that is their excuse. Thank you all for reading this and beware of bidpay. BEWARE!

                      I've used Ebay for 3 years. I use PayPal, Nochex, whatever. I live in London, won an auction in GBP, seller is in USA wants to be paid in USD via BIDPAY. Fine. I sign up for BidPay, give them my details, pay by credit card. 5 days later I get notice from Ebay about a non-payment complaint from seller. I look up my transaction, it is still in "waiting for approval" status mode. I look around the web site for a phone number, there is none so I send an email asking what is up. Day 6 - No responce from email, so I email Bidpay again. Day 7 - No responce from email, so I email Bidpay again. Day 9 - No responce from email, so I email Bidpay again. Day 10 - I find their phone number through this website and I call. The very nice person on the other line says there backed up she'll call through to see if my credit card payment processing can't be expedited. Day 11 - I get an email from BidPay saying they've denied the approval of my purchase because the amount I sent was more than the auction. Almost 1.5 times over even. If they thought about it the overage might be ecual to the exchange rate from GBP to USD. Bottom line, they suck. Horrible customer service, poor follow through, a Western Union mentality brought online. If you're a seller you may not get paid in time. If you're a buyer your valid credit card purchase may never get processed. Avoid at all costs.

                        I´m one of many customers HURTed by BIDPAY. I used that service many times along 2001 and 2002, but this year that Company became a UNTRUSTFUL service. Maybe the WORST in Market today. They not only do NOT COMPLETE MY ORDERS BUT ALSO THEY CHARGED MY CARDS and NEVER SEND THE MONEY ORDERS to the sellers OR REFUND MY CARDS. I sent MANY MANY MANY Messages, Faxes and Tried phone calls. NOTHING HAPPEN. I Ask the Official Offices to INTERFERE on this company. URGENTLY. THey are HURTING CUSTOMERS. Creating an DANGEROUS IMAGE TO THE WEB BUSINESS. I can say they STOLEN My Money, Because along the time frame they remloved my money from the account and withou any notice, didn´t send taht to the destination, gave me any message response or refund the money back. This is an UNDUE APPROPRIATION must be PUNISHED by Government officials. Anyone whom had been Victim of BIDPAY please join us on this PUBLIC REMARKS. Luis
