Advantages: Very good site and that's all
Disadvantages: Useless Customer Services, Returns, what are they?, Their shop is cheaper (not that I'm saying use it)
Has anyone who has written an opinion ever bought anything from here? It is exactly the same as Dabs.com, you should try reading those opinions or look at all the negative opinions on dabsexchange's own website. Nearly all of the main deals on here are old Dabs stock, being sold, often at more than their worth, broken or with bits missing. Returning a product is impossible, most things are sold 'as is' quite what it is you'll never know untill you recieve it. Mark Gowans is the main auction bloke at Dabs, aside from the fact that he can't string together a grammatically correct english sentence to save his life, he will never reply to your e-mails or phone calls, and if he does he will spoonfeed you a load of lies. You do occasionally get a good deal, I got 6 dreamcast games for £3, I don't even have a dreamcast, but I thought it was a good deal and could shift them down the pub. They sent me two games, then two weeks later one more, still waiting two months later for the remaining games. Have asked for their freepost returns address, which they wouldn't give me, but I have now found it out. The only problem being , if I return them they say I won't get a refund anyway. The only good thing I can find to say about this pathetic company is that they have a good website, it is well structured and easy to navigate, it's just a shame about the content and the people behind it. Since all of this, I have asked dabs to refund the money and send me a copy of all information and e-mails they hold about me, they are obliged to do this within 30 days, I have heard nothing in 6 weeks.

- 15/08/02 I have had no problem with returning goods to them. I found the returns procedure to be fair and easy to manage.
I have only had to return one item so far (a PIII cpu), but was credited promptly. The other problems have been dealt with by them sending a replacement and my binning the faulty product or offering me a credit. I guess it was due to the lower value of those items.
What can I say? No complaints here. |

- 02/03/02 What a load of old tosh you have put here. I have purchased several items from Dabsexchange and never had a problem. Mar has allways been very helpful and allways replied to e-mails. So I don't see how you can comment when you have only had one axperience with Dabs. See my comment for realistic information. And please do try dabs they are brilliant. |
