Advantages: good place to sell old/unwanted stuff

Disadvantages: fee's are ludicrous

I used to frequently use ebay.co.uk but have decided to cut down my use to a minimum recently. My initial thoughts on buying where that it was a great place to get hold of anything you wanted for a little less than you might find it elsewhere, however on many occasions i was left feeling gutted as items i had been bidding on went for what i saw as too much money. I then decided to try my hand at a bit of selling, to get rid of some stuff i had kicking around the house. At first i had some success in getting rid of old playstation games and the like, but didn't realise how much both ebay, and paypal, fee's ate in to my takings. I sold and xbox bundle for around £270 and was annoyed to find about £20 had gone in fee's. It's a good place to buy and sell some stuff but i don't buy in to all the hype.

Summary: good for using every now and again
