I hate Ebay, let's put it simply.

Ebay nowadays have the nearly monopoly on online auctions and as a result, they can get away with ridiculous fees to sell items.

I know that if I do not like them I can go somewhere else, but I feel that they have cornered the market participants in either selling on Ebay or nothing, because their competitors do not seem to attract enough volume to make it worth selling there.

I have used Ebay in the past to buy different items and I also looked at holidays and holiday flats in France and Spain.

The registration is quite fast, but if you want to sell, you are forced to have a Paypal account, and I also hate Paypal, because I was victim of fraud there.

Ebay and Paypal really have such a great market share, that I am surprised there is no regulator taking action to protect the interest of customers, because it is clear that when there is only 1 supplier, they can get away with whatever fees they want.

Summary: I hate them
