ebay love it or hate it it's the number one place for a bargain. i've been using ebay for four years now ( buying and selling ) and overall i am very pleased with my experience.

if you are considering using ebay for buying or selling items then i would suggest setting up a paypal account, it's the safest way for both parties, buyers and sellers.

you can buy and sell almost anything on ebay, of course there are some exceptions but most things go. there are two differn't ways to buy and sell on ebay, you can use a fixed price auction called buy it now where you set the price you want, or a normal auction where you start the bidding at a certain price and the item runs till the end. when selling an item you can list it for 1,3,5,7 or 10 days. buy it now items must run for a minimum of 3 days.

ebay uses a feedback system where buyers and sellers rate each other on there experience. this is key when selling as if you have bad feedback then people will not buy from you. there are a few bad eggs on ebay and i have been ripped of a couple of times in the past but the majority of people that use ebay are genuine.

ebay is like a giant online car boot sale and even rare and hard to find items can be found on this site. there are also ebay shops where sellers that have a large amount of items trade.

ebay is great and i will continue to use it for many more years to come. just be carefull if something looks to good a deal to be true then it probally is.
