Advantages: easy to use, bargains to be had

Disadvantages: fees for listing and final value fees, dont get into a bidding war

Ive always been a great fan of ebay, i found this site quite a few years ago, infact it must have been when they first set it up. Its an auction website where people can list anything they have, you often get shops setting up online. People bid for the amount there happy to pay. This can get a little challenging sometimes especially when you get into a bidding war with someone (just be prepared and have a mental note of the maximum you would want to pay for an item.

There ae millions of items on here and you can grab some real bargains. I usually wait until the last minute to bid for something, so long as i rememeber, that way the items dont go too high at an early stage.

Ive also sold items on here infact ive just made quite a large amount of money just from old baby clothes that my girls have grown out of. I would highly recommend it, ebay do charge you to list items and prices usually range from 5p - £1, they then take a final value fee which is a percent of whatever the item sold for but its usually minimal.

You are best setting up a paypal account when using ebay to either buy or sell as this is what most people use and is a much easier transaction than if sending a cheque etc.

Definately grear for grabbing a bargain especially on the run up to Christmas!
