Advantages: Cheap childrens clothing

Disadvantages: Ebay fee's going sky high

I have been using ebay for around 4 years and first discovered it through my partner.
At first it was hard to get used to and i spent a while looking at what it had to offer, after signing up, creating a account and choosing a username i was ready to start buying and bidding, at first i mainly did buying and picked up some cracking bargains, me and my partner had brought a house together so where scouring ebay looking for cheap but good quality furnishings, which we found many of! A sofa bed for 99p which takes pride in our spare room, a beautiful pine 6 draw dressing table with matching mirror, not a mark to it for only 99p, OK so we had to spend about £10.00 on fuel picking it up but thats still a bargain i could go on and on but you get the idea.
But i will mention we did get our fair share of rubbish tat which we thought where bargains- 99p for a sofa which on the picture looked stunning three seater, used a couple of times and the same color as our living room so we where thrilled when we won it! we had to travel a fair distance to get it and we got there and well it was nothing like the picture, more like a two seater and hard as nails to sit on.
So we learned from our mistakes.....
We then turned our hand at selling to make a little bit of extra money which started out great being a stay at home mum i liked the idea of being able to do something at home and still earn money, which then escalated into me and my mum setting up a small business selling new and used baby clothing, which got off to a great start and i loved spending the extra time with mum we both did our fair share and split the profits, we even started doing toys, after about 6 months sales started to drop and it was costing more to keep relisting, than what we where making so we called it a day and sold off our stock in a wholesale bulk item.
Since then i haven't been as much as a ebayer addict and only selling and buying little things.
As this credit crunch hit's us alot more people are resorting to selling treasured items to make some money and are finding that things are simply not selling because other cannot afford to buy so really it's a vicious circle we're in i tryed listing some things the other week and was shocked to see how much the fee's had gone up, and also sad that i didn't much at all for items that when i brought them cost quite a bit of money.

Summary: It seems everyone is resorting to ebay to make some extra money, yet people cannot to buy
