You want anything - and I mean anything and you will find it on this site. It's just like one big car boot sale!!!

When I first came across this site many many moons ago I was addicted straight away. Spending hours searching for anything and everything. And even now if I am looking for the most random thing I will go there first.

It's an easy to use site and a quick enough registration process. You need to register to be able to bid on something. You will choose your username which will be used everytime you bid. To keep an eye on what you're bidding on it is stored in My Ebay so can ensure that you don't get outbid, but if you are away and not able to access ebay (like I can't at work) they send you an email to let you know when you've been outbid.

You also have the option to watch something, so if it has a few days left to go and you would rather watch it instead of bidding this will be stored in My Ebay as well so again you can keep an eye on the current bid and how long there is left in the auction.

There is so many ways in the auction now, with just the original bids, buy it now (which means you buy it at the price it's listed for), and there's best offer so if you don't want to pay the asking price you can contact the seller with an offer and if they accept the auction for that item will end.

It's very simple to search - just type in what you're looking for and even if you spelt it wrong and it doesn't come back with anything it will bring up the closest match. Once the list comes up you can decide on way you would like the list organised e.g by ending time, price or distance from your house.

Once you have won an item you will pay by one of the ways accepted by the seller (always check that you are able to make a payment by the way the seller wants before you bid.) They will then send item out to you by postage that was offered in their listing.

When you receive product you must leave feedback for the seller and you can leave a comment for your thoughts on the product, good or bad. it is better now that you don't face bad feedback from a seller even if you leave them bad feedback, so you won't receive bad feedback out of spite any longer.

You can also sell items on here for a charge. you put in all the details and can upload a photo for your item as well. You choose the starting price, if you want to put a reserve on it, you also get to choose what type of auction you want e.g buy it now, best offer etc. And you can choose how many days you have it listed for.

Overall I think this site is brilliant. I know there are other sites similar but nothing nearly as popular or well known as this one
