Ebay is a global marketplace where you can buy and sell almost anything. You bid for your item and the highest bidder wins.

It is used by both businesses and private sellers. Each seller has a feedback rating, and you can read this before you buy to see how genuine the seller or product is, which is handy.

Ebay is great for gettin rid of unwanted junk, it's easy to upload your item but if you get paid into paypal it can take a while to clear, and paypal take a charge from you for using it.

It can happen that sellers arnt genuine, I have had items sent to me that don't match the description, or items that don't arrive for a few months, so you can't be too trusting when you use the site, but that is where the feedback comes in handy. It's also good to find a bargain, or get some sought after tickets.

Summary: Where else would you go to sell a spare ticket, or buy a wholesale box of ties?
