As a loyal user of eBay for almost 5 years, I have to say that the problems I have had with the service can be counted on one hand and they are usually nothing to do with eBay and more to do with non paying buyers. I actually own an eBay shop which sells personalised birthday cards and do very nicely out of it thanks to the exposure it gets from being on eBay and the tools that eBay offer me within my basic shop package. Everything you could need is there, from shop design tools, to marketing tools and even including indepth financial reports. For the casual user, eBay is perfect if you are are looking for a bargain or simply want to offload unwanted items. You can put reserve prices on so you always get the minimum you would require. The fees can be expensive on some things, but regular cheap listing days are put on with a few days notice. Overall, a great service.
