If you have never checked out Ebay, you should go and do so as soon as you have finished reading my review. I have been buying and selling on Ebay since 1999 and have completed about eight thousand transactions. I have bought everything from a car to a chicken coop and sold toys, books, clothes and lots of junk. I always check Ebay before I consider buying anything and you will generally find a better deal than the high street. For people new to buying I would say that you should always read all of the descritpion and terms and make use of the 'ask seller a question' option to clarify any queries you may have. Always make sure you know how much the postage is going to cost before you bid as well.
As far as selling goes, I know some people think the fees can be too high (approx 10%) but if your alternative is getting up early on a Sunday nd standing in the cold at a car boot sale to flog your junk then there really is no competition.
If you are planning on selling lots then make sure you take advantage of free applications like Turbo lister.
