Advantages: Easy to use, fast, Easy to locate items.

Disadvantages: May appear scary to newcomers.

Upon first glance the site may appear; bland, plain, boring. Whatever you want to call it the site appears very simplistic, and that's exactly what I want! To often have a I ventured onto a site to find an 'over-complicated' site or a site containing far too many unpleasant members. Ebay shapes itself around simplicity and being able to root out the 'bad eggs' of the site through its feedback feature.

Now speaking from my own personal experience, the whole idea of Ebay seemed scary, the fact that I'm buying or selling a good to or from someone I do not know seemed daunting, but I decided to jump on the Ebay bandwagon and purchase some band posters.

It was quick and easy to set up my Ebay account and link it to Paypal, I bought the item I wanted and payed for it via Paypal, the item arrived a few days later as described, I left the seller feedback and viceversa also received feedback.

The whole experiance was pain-free and since then I've done many more transactions through Ebay.

My advice would be no matter how 'scary' the idea of Ebay seems, the site is great and the support offered from the site is next to none. It's a great site for tracking down that item you've been wanting for ages.
