Advantages: selling your items

Disadvantages: all the fees you pay!

Well, almost the biggest website in the world! Its very popular for people who are being affected by the credit crunch. I am sure everybody has heard of this website but just incase I will explain what it is.
Basically, E-bay is a Buy & Sell website where people list there items, wether its brand new or second hand. You can put the items on as a fixed price or put them up for auction. People can then search for an item, if they are interested in your item they will place a bid. When they win the item they either pay through the payment method of your choice which is normally PayPal.

Once you have recieved the payment you then post the item to the buyer and when they recieve they will leave you feedback.
You can find all sorts of wonderful and weird things on ebay that people are selling; You can sell absolutly anything within reason.

The only downside is, you have too pay a fee for everything you do. 12p too add a photo, 40p for listing as fixed price etc etc. Normally but the time you have listed the item, and paid for fees then sent the item you never end up making any money anyway!!

Many people have there own buisness on ebay selling wholesale items that they have bought. This is great for us as we get things cheaper.. and fab for them as there making a small profit!

Contacting Ebay is the worst bit. I still havnt spoke to a REAL person yet. There is a phone number too ring but you can only speak to an automated person! Veryy annoying!

The website is fab for if you want too sell a big item of big value eg. Car, Instrument etc as you will make a fair bit of profit. But if you would like too sell anything small, after you have paid fees and posted I dont think its worth it.

Summary: ok website.. hate the fees though
