Advantages: Sales can be made through auction or buy it now prices. Exraordinary and ordinary items. Great!!

Disadvantages: Can be ripped off if your not carefull to check the sellers history.

I've been using ebay for a long time now, i know people who have sold all sorts of things on there. you can sell the smallest things to the largest. And you'd be suprised what you can sell, if you have something you don't want or don't like, the easiest thing to think is 'would someone else like this' the likely hood is that someone wants this.
I find it fun bidding on auctions, and selling via auction because it's fun to see your items sell for higher than you could've possibly imagined but there are also times where they sell for a very small amount of money, but i still get satisfaction from that because to me its something less to clutter a space up. Moreover, if your wanting to be very safe price wise id go for selling and buying from buy now only.
Personally I buy mainly from the UK and Hong Kong, i find that items from hong kong are the exact same quality you would get from a product from the uk but around 2 or 3 times cheaper. (plus dont you see 'made in china' ona lot of the items you own? buying direct cuts out the middle man therefore price is reduced anyway).
Always check the positive and negativity percentages of a seller (you can also check the feedback from their previous customers to see what, if any good or bad feedback there is.) You will know whether to buy from a seller because of this number for examlpe if the positive feedback is 20% i wouldnt reccomend buying from them (NOTE: check how many sales the seller has made if the seller has only sold 1 or two items they may have had a small problem in the transaction and yours may be perfectly fine but if someone has sold 500 items and have a 20% positive feedback i strongly reccomend that you don't buy from them, likelyhood is that you will loose money and get no product or a really rubish one.)
