Advantages: You can find all sorts of strange things to buy

Disadvantages: Addictive stuff

Ebay is an auction site where it is possible to buy and sell almost anything. Sellers may list items with a 'buy it now' price whereby whoever gets there first wins, or there are bidding wars.

I am fast becoming an ebay addict. However, I am purely a buyer, not a seller. I buy almost all my clothes from ebay, and many other random items. The layout is extremely easy to navigate, the search categories helpfully narrow down the items suitable, because without that, you would be browsing for a ridiculously long time. It is best to actively describe and narrow down your search options as much as possible in order to minimise the amount of time spent scrolling through possible items.

I find that the paypal system is the easiest form of payment on ebay and protects you from the odd naughty ebayer that doesn't want to play nice.
Everything that I have bought on ebay is much cheaper than instore, even if they are brand new items, they are a fraction of the normal retail value. Since discovering this, i must confess that I go into stores and prepare mental lists of all suitable items and then go on ebay to see if I can get a bargain.

Use ebay to defeat this strange credit crunch era and spend more time lounging around in bed.

Summary: Beat the credit crunch!
