Ebay is the leading online auction site. You can buy or sell practically anything off this site. I love ebay and am always on having a look whats been added. Not sure about anyone else but there always seems to be something I need or want. I could spend thousands on there if I had the cash.

The prices are very good from both business and private sellers. I guess this is because the sellers have very low overheads with them selling online. You can buy fridge freezers etc. at up to 50% discount from Currys prices. I think this is great and it just shows you how much companies and pushing up the prices. I think now they will need to get more competative in order to keep their customers.

Ebay is extremely safe to use. They have great systems in place to protect the consumer. They also act closely in partnership with Paypal which is another good, safe company.

If you have an account with ebay you can do lots with it. My particular favourites are being able to 'watch' items. Ebay will send you an email telling you that your watched item is ending soon which is really useful if you've forgotten about it. I also like the ratings system which keeps both sellers and buyers on their toes.

Overall Ebay has never been rivalled by any other online auction and if it continues to grow with the internet it never will be.
