In your account you will find all your message options, the ability to watch an auction till it ends, review anything you have lsited to sell, any bought transactions and so forth. This will let you take complete control over all the auctions you are looking at etc, and makes for a simple and easy experience on the site.

There is also a good feedback system which helps you to make a bit more informed decisions about who to buy from. Those with higer feedback and star ratings generally are more reliable than those with only a couple stars. It is defiantely helpful in avoiding anyone trying to scam you.
