Expensive though they are, my bad experiences with cheap compatibles, made me opt only for originals for my Canon printer
Needless to say these can be very expensive, but with a bit of patience and hunting around the web, I came across Cartridge People which I have so far found to be the cheapest for ink cartridges for Canon ip4200. I have checked several times against other web and store retailers and have still found Cartridge People to be the cheapest for the brand I am looking for.
The other good thing is that delivery is free and it is sometimes cheaper if you buy two of the same. The delivery is via first class mail and very prompt. Of course, if you go via a cash-back site, such as Quidco, you can also get up to 12% cash back. It is always worth checking out if there are discount voucher codes, to bring the cost down a bit more.
