Advantages: way to make money or grab a bargain

Disadvantages: late posting item when bought

I use ebay alot, i buy alot as i am disabled and it is a way of buying cheaply at a good price you want.
It is exellent because all you have to do is put a bid in with the amount you can afford and what you think is a fair price.

I find it useful because i cannot always buy a used bargain with my disability i cannot trail around a carboot, especially when in bad weather and so ebay is good to view the item you want from the comfort and warmth of your home.

I have never had an item not arrive, i have always so far had good items, and everyone i have bought from have mostly communicated with me.

The longest i have had to wait for an item was recently as last week, i bought my grandson a toy and paid for it on the 14th February and it only arrived yesterday the 2nd March, i that is past 2 weeks and i paid first class post.

Good thing on ebay is you can leave a feedback for other buyers to see, i always look on the feedback in general to see how they measure up, i did that with the toy seller and the feedback was 100% but things happen and you have to sometimes view it as a one off and maybe they were ill or something and could not get to the post office, of which i would like to have had contact eventually stating why it did not arrive.

I find ebay good for browsing, alot of people do over price things in my opinion, but then you have the choice to view the same item by another seller at the price you think would be fair.

I find alot of people overcharge for postage but i think they do that so to cover their fees on ebay.

To list an item at a starting price of 99p is free to list, which is good because if you do not sell it, you have not lost anything, as the amount can add up if you have to pay the fees and you do not sell it.

My husband has occasionally sold through his ebay, recently he sold my old mobility scooter and we got a fair price for it.

What we never realised because we hardly ever sell is that paypal take a percentage also, we only thought it was ebay that did that, so that is something to take into consideration when using ebay.

The best thing on ebay is that you can readily bag a bargain from your own home and not venture out into the cold in the winter and if you are like me i do not like to haggle and on ebay i can just up my bid if i think it is a worthwhile item.

Ebay is the way forward.
Good luck if you use it and make a bid.

Summary: exellent
