This is my story/rant about the awful practise of suspending my account without justification by Ebay. I am relocating to another country and as transportation costs are exhaustive i decided to sell somethings on Ebay i put all listings and things were going well, i even managed to sell 2 items but as my rest few had final bids on and time was coming to an end my account was suspended. I called Ebay thinking its some misunderstanding which the polite voice on the other side of the phone agreed with and asked me to send some proofs which i did, he even asked me to go online and confirm with an E-agent in an hours time if all has been received, i did that and to my amazement the agent said your account has been indefinately suspended, now i could not understand why so i called the helpdesk again and they said the e-agents have gone bonkers don't worry wait for 48 hours and if you have sent all details they will reinstate your account, i could see some ray of hope here, however as i was on a tight schedule i tried to next day now again they said that YOUR ACCOUNT HAS BEEN INDEFINATELY SUSPENDID. I think its an awful practise and just because ebay is the mediator it should be guided by some laws otherwise they are just stamping their authority on genuine people without giving them a fair hearing. I think this is appalling and if there is justice then Ebay should be made to explain its actions without going through a lengthy proceedings of the court for which i do not think i am going to waste my time, energy or money. All should be aware buy or sell at your own peril.
