Advantages: money making!
Disadvantages: finding the time to list items
Was talked into selling on ebay after a girl at work showed me how easy it was and how much she made. So into the Alladins Cave of a loft that we have. Brought down some bits and pieces that the kids didn't bother with any more. I put them on at starting bids of 99p and left them running for a few days, thinking 'what are the chances of anyone looking at my stuff with all the stuff that must be on ebay' oh how wrong I was! The amount of people that were 'watching' my items crept up, the bids came in and went up and I was pleasantly surprised at how much things sold for - especially the bids jumping up and up in the last few minutes.
Some things still surprise me, it's the things you don't expect to make much that sell for loads! it's crazy but a great way to get rid of stuff you longer need and make some money on it.
Watch out for free listing weekends - they save you even more money.
My boys call me the ebay Queen!
