At the beginning of February 2002, I had no idea about ebay, but by the end of February I was hooked. I have bidded for a few things but I am mainly interested in selling. It is hard to believe that stuff i have no use for anymore has become other peoples treasure. I started off just selling my old playstation games as i never used them anymore and was astounded when they would go for between £8-£10. That is basically what I paid for them.

User feedback is brilliant. Everyday I find I have anther rating and so far so good I have never had a bad rating. I love leaving feedback because you know that a good feedback will brighten up someones day. I have had quite a few auctions going at once, but I have decided to let them all finish before i put anymore on. Not for any other reason than my whiteboard isn't big enough to hold everyones details. Clothes seem to sell well, especially underwear. I used to do Naughty Knickers parties and have had the leftover stock languishing away in my loft for years. It still amazes me what people will bid on. To insert a basic listing with a picture and some words it costs just 15p but for your extras like Bold Type and Underlining it costs more. 15p doesn't seem much but once you add them all up they can leave a heafty hole in your pocket. Then when the auction finishes and has sold, Ebay will take a final listing fee. This is a percentage of however much the item has sold for. This can become quite high so it is quite difficult to figure out which items are actually worth selling. It takes trial and error but I am beginning to get there.

Oh well, back to the loft to find more things to sell.
