Advantages: Fast way to make money,

Disadvantages: Can be ripped off by scammers.

I have untill recently been able to avoid the draw of Ebay. I believe that in this economy we need to support our local business. However even the stongest person can be persuaded to do the one thing they have sworn off. My laptop quit working and I was in need of some quick cash to get it fixed. I searched and it seemed that Ebay was the only way I was gonna be able to make a large amount of money quickly. So I gathered up a few items took pictures and sat down getting ready to post up some auctions.

I had the items right in front of me so to give a accurate description of the items. Once the page was fully loaded I realized that there were several options to use for listing an auction. There was a simple page for the new user like me. I thanked my lucky stars that they thought of some one like me when putting together there web page.

As I read the page and put my information into there simple web form I realized that Ebay in its self is not so bad. They make there webpage easy for every one to use. Even the likes of me. After filling in the form and hitting the submit button I waited for the red flashing to happen saying you are not allowed to post that auction. How ever it never happened. After hearing all the horror stories about other people that had sworn off ebay. I was expecting a clause to pop up requesting my first born. Needless to say that never happened either.

So I waited for my own ebay horror story to start. My item was listed and I was suprised to see that there were bids on it. Then the auction ended and the high bidder actually paid. As of yet I had been having a pretty good experience with Ebay. I still waited expecting the worse. It was never to come.

Well now I am still listing and selling on ebay when I need to make some money with no horror stories as of yet. Just a smooth operation no complaints every thing running smoothly. I would recommend that every one give ebay a second chance.
