Advantages: Easy to use, one off payment

Disadvantages: None

I started using Ebid recently as i got fed up with the charges that Ebay decide to charge you. The money to pay out was starting to creep up, and so i chose to register with Ebid instead.
I found Ebid through searching on the internet for other auction sites and after looking at the reviews for Ebid, decided to join.
I paid the one off fee of £49.99 for the Lifetime Seller account. You are able to chose whether you want to pay a Final Valuation Fee when you place items on there to sell. There are a variety of options to choose from. If you do not want to pay any extra fees, this means that you won't get a picture when your items are listed. If you want a picture on the listings, then you have to pay and etc etc.
Another good option is that you can leave your items listed until they are sold, with no extra costs. I thought this was a really good option.
You can open a shop when you open a Lifetime Seller Account without any extra costs, which can be really useful.
Of course, there are other payment options such as paying a monthly fee, but i would really go for the Lifetime Seller account. You can save yourself some money by just paying the £49.99.

The site is really easy to use and navigate around. It is easy to search for items, and extremely easy to place items on there to sell. I find it a little easier than Ebay. To sell an item all you have to do is simply complete a form, adding all your details of the item, and then submit. I had read a review saying that the website was difficult to navigate, but when i went on i found that it was easy to use. There is a lot happening on the Home Page, so maybe that is why it seemed difficult to navigate.

More and more people are starting to join Ebid. I have not had no sales yet, but it is early days, and i am quite happy to leave my items on there until they sell, which i am sure they will! (fingers crossed!!).

I would say to anyone out there to give Ebid a try, if you are selling or buying. Even though it is not as popular as Ebay, it is starting to attract more and more people as we speak!

Summary: Great site and options for selling are great

Good review and will give this a look - i've not been happy with the amount of charges i pay ebay recently, i'm sure it never used to cost that much!
