Advantages: sells stuff

Disadvantages: unhelpful, language and quantity roam free, unfiltered

QXL, although laid out nicely, is not that good. When you serach for, say, "3310", you get around 40 adverts for the SAME auction. My experience shows nearly all the results are in a foreign language, and there are always more than one of these. When I finally found something I wanted (around page 7), I put in my bid, waited until about a week after the auction before I received a letter saying "reply within 10 days to this persons email address or else..." so anyway I did. QXL claim this is where their responsibility ends. I had to talk to this bloke, who wanted me to pay more, and wasnt very heplful, and eventually we got the original deal (QXL were no help when I complained).
Basically, they need quantity andlanguage filters, and need to be FAR more helpful.

Oh well

Are you listening to our advice? Or ae we just wasting our time trying to be helpful, read your comments. You ahve just wrote about 5 opinions in about 1/2 hr, why not just write one really good one which will get you much more respect (and money) instead of writing several averagey ones?

*Cha Ching*, Smark.
