I was introduced to this site via a friend and I am glad I visited it. It’s always a good to browse the site in search of a bargain and if you have something to sell then why not. This is a very good auction site. The site itself is well designed and well presented.

It doesn’t take long to get used to how the bidding and selling works. But, first you will have to register to the site, so you can make bids and they can be tracked down and so you can be informed by e-mail.

So, I decided to sell my Sony CD walkman valued at about £50 considering the fact I have had it a few years now. I put it on the Qxl.com site and in essence forget about it. When the closing date came and the auction had ended.

I received a SMS text message saying that the item had been bought for £70 which was excellent. In fact the person who bided for it lived in my area, even the internet is a small place so delivery wasn’t that much. I was posted the cheque and he got his CD walkman. Everyone happy all around. I had to pay £2.50 to qxl.com for a listing fee, it was all so easy and worthwhile

You can also buy from the site you’ll find some really good bargains. They have an impressive category list and I am sure you will find a category to suit you. Anything from Antiques, Books, Cars, to Computer software and lots more. They have a good search engine which can save time and find you what you are looking for.

Any useful tips?
-don’t bid to much a £1 a time is enough you can always go up and make a higher bid if needs be
-be careful if you are buying CD’s they could be scratched
-if you auction successfully for a product then stick to it nothing can be as frustrating as someone biding for a product then backing out when the auction has closed.
