Advantages: Get really cool stuff like vouchers and PS3's.

Disadvantages: Lots of useless items on sale.

Swapitshop is a fun, friendly and safe environment for kids to enjoy as well as adults. The concept of the site is simple. Members can trade some of their old stuff such as books or DVD's or almost anything and other people can bid for them with swapits. Then you post the swap over and the swapits get credited to you. There are also lots of other ways to get swapits such as through magazines or clicking on things on websites.

In my opinion swapitshop is perfect for kids. You aren't able to talk to anyone else and all private information is kept private. Also it teaches youngsters about certain things on every day life such as how many stamps you need for a 300g parcel. Also any swaps containing any rude words are filtered out as are any selling current money.

Swapitshop however, is an auction site where people spend swapits as opposed to money. Swapitshop themselves put a lot of swaps up such as Ipod Touch's, PS3's and even televisions all for reasonable prices. Also lots of people like film producers after having just launched a film create frenzies where they put up a lot of stuff to do with the film on Swapitshop. Lots of times Swapitshop gets brilliant ones with very expensive items. This ensures Swapitshop always have plenty of great products and vouchers.

In my opinion Swapitshop is a great website to go on for everyone especially kids. It teaches them about recycling and giving away old toys which they don't use. It teaches them about money and other things. Finally, it is a safe environment where nothing can go wrong as Swapitshop has been running since 2002.
