Advantages: get things you want for things you dont, if you receive something and its not what you expected you can send it back

Disadvantages: you have 2 pay double the amount of postage and, you dont get the items sometimes

What is swapitshop for a start?? well it is a website where you get "the things you want for the things you don't." Basically you enter the item you want to swap and give it a minimum and maximum swapit value. Swapits are the virtual currency swapitshop use. People bid and after one or two weeks depending on how long you want it on the site, when it has reached the set time the transaction goes through. You send the item and once swapitshop receive it swapits are taken from the person who is buying it and go into your account. You can then use the swapits you have to buy things off other people. You can bid on more than one thing and swap more than one thing at a time. Anyway...Last year when swapitshop shut I didn't think it would come back. I had swapped a great deal of items on it and had many swapits, the only problem with that was I was stuck with a load of swapits and couldn't get any thing for them. 6 months later or so it reopened again and I got to keep all of my swapits. The major change is unfortunately because of the financial problem if you send an item you have to include stamps for swapitshop to send it on. This means each item costs a lot more to send. I still do think that swapitshop is a great thing and I check what's on it practically everyday. I would recommend it to everyone; if you were a member previously sign back up and you will be able to use your old swapits! There are many different things that are put onto it now, including mobile phones (these cost a lot though), gift vouchers, you name it, it?s probably on there. In my opinion the new swapitshop contains much better products and is slightly more reliable and there are now competitions that you can win swapits. Without it I would have a lot of junk sitting at home!!!
