“ UK person-to-person online auction site „
This site is new and they provide online auctions in the UK, US, Canada, Australia and Ireland. The service is free for buyers and free for sellers to post new items and upload photos, the only charges are for extras like featuring your item in there home page featured gallery. People who used the now defunct UK Yahoo auctions will like CoCo-Bay as the site has a similar look and feel above although for some the best part will be that the service is free. All new users get £10 or $10 and they pay you a £1 or $1 for referrals. For people wanting to list many items there free bulk lister service allows you to do just that and you can use it offline if you don't want to run up your phone bill. I have contacted there support and they were very quick to respond which is very good in my book since you are lucky to get a response from some sites these days.
I'm an old hand when it comes to online auctions and recently found the aptly named Bloke in the Pub auction. Most auctions have their drawbacks, but this one is smooth, fast, functional and has every feature you'd expect to find on a good auction. I reckoned it had around 5 to 7 thousand items listed, not massive but it seems to be getting bigger all the time. Adding an auction was very simple and the site has a good community feel. I contacted the people who run the site and they said they had big plans for it, including multi-currency support (so users can select a currency for their auction) which is set to launch very soon. Basic listings are free and the only charges are for bold and featured auctions. This is certainly one to watch.
