Advantages: Good idea

Disadvantages: Not much of a money spinner/probably will fold.

Webswappers.com sounded a good idea when I checked it out. I thought I may find a bargain or someone who wants something I have. I was wrong.
The quality of general items on this site are generally poor. They are mainly things you would not want or things you could get brand new for less elsewhere.
Its a nice pleasant looking site though.
Its easy to navigate and easy to find what you want although a search box on the site to find a specific match would be helpful as the search swaps box is not very accurate when I search.
You have to register which is free, to place swaps and wants.
you can see what individuals want by clicking on their profiles. It shows what they have to offer and what they want too.
Most of the stuff is not the sort of stuff people want and I will be suprised if they make any money. They claim it is a free service but there must be a catch unless they intend to make money through Advertising (like Dooyoo).
They give guidelines about the swap too so that you dont put yourselves in danger!
They also offer an exchange service via UPS which would take the cost of an item (unless it is very expensive) over the price of a new item.
I say, leave the swapping to Noel Edmonds.

completely agree mate...its like an online jumble sale. good idea but isn't likely to work unless there's loads of people who want to swap their junk for junk of a different shape and size of course...lol. good op.
