Ive tried Yahoo auctions website for the first time this week, hence the inactive on the ciao site.Ive been trying to sell my beloved Honda, as the 9mpg is killing my abilty to spend money at the pub.At this rate the car drinks more than I do.

So I placed the advert on the internet for 5 days and had four bidders.The last one hit the reserve price on the head, and I thought a sale had been made....wrong...after the close of the auction I emailed the seller asking him or her to contact me......its how been three days and Ive heard nothing.The upsetting part was someone wanted my car which they had seen in a local freepaper and wanted to buy it for more than the reserve, but I declined because I thought Yahoo would charge my credit card if I pulled out.

I wouldnot recommend to sell cars via the auctions as its wasted my time for a week, and the possible sale of the car anyway.Ive not found any geniune bargains yet and think its safer to deal with people via www.preloved.co.uk or www.loot.co.uk instead.
