Logitech X 540 ... bought this set of speakers, primarly for console gaming (XBOX 360, PS3 etc.) and was a bit dubious over the stero output from the XBOX 360 (red and white phono/RCA cables) being able to deliver surround sound. I was wrong to worry, and they do deliver an amazing experience. The thing you will be using mostly if you are a console gamer, is the Matrix Mode button - which essentially turns a 2-channel signal into a 5.1 surround sound signal. And it works AMAZINGLY well. I tried it out on GTA IV online, and had my friend drive around my character in circles, and I could hear when the car was behind me and when it was in front of me. Logitech Z 5450 Digital 5.1 Speaker System ... recently bought these speakers to complete my setup and they are truly amazing. I have always loved Logitech and these speakers are just as good. Amazing quality and rich bass makes any game or movie sound so much better, especially after just using the speakers from my TV before. The best thing about these speakers which instantly made my mind up about buying them is that the two rear speakers are wireless. Sony SRS D511 ... is a good set of speakers for gaming and films, I also use them for music, but really, to get the most out of your music you need a good HiFi, as these speakers don t have the best sound quality going. So, if you want a good set of surround sound speakers for your PC, these will do nicely, and won t break the bank. The sound isn t all that bad though, the subwoofer produces fair bass, which plays the lower frequencys nicely, though the driver is on the small side a bit and they make a strange noise when you put them up too high, like the speaker is hitting the casing, so not too well designed there...
