If you've got one of the new Apple G4 Quicksilvers, you'll know that the audio from the box of tricks itself is, well, feeble. It's a bit of a shame given that iTunes gives it fantastic music playing and recording facilities (see separate review of ITunes2). I wanted to make the most of iTunes and its funky graphics so I splashed out £50 for a pair of spangly Apple Pro Speakers. Since I got mine, Apple have started selling them on their online store for £35. Anyway, these babies only work with the new G4s released in 2001 (although they look pretty similar to the speakers available for the Cube (RIP). These are not USB-based ...
