Amazing sound quality. I usually use it with my laptop and my ipod, to watch movies or to listen to music. The sound is balanced and very clean. The bass is also very good and rich. It definitely makes watching TV shows or movies on the laptop a much better experience. Volume control is also very easy, you just turn the knob on the speaker. These speakers are supposed to be used with desktop PC or laptops, and as PC speakers go, the quality is definitely beyond satisfactory. Set up is also very easy - the booklet inside gives very clear instructions as to which wire goes into which port. I could do it myself despite usually being quite useless at these things, so that's saying something...

I would have given this product a 5 for its price, reliability and sound quality. But one minor thing is the mobile phone interference that I'm getting... Everytime I get a call or text, my speakers seem to predict it for me. This could get annoying after a while, so usually I just place my phone VERY far away from the speakers to prevent this from happening. Would be better if they could improve this, though I'm not sure if this is inevitable even with other brands of speakers. I never had this problem when I used to have an ipod dock speaker (though, the sound quality with that one was appalling).

I got these a year and a bit ago, and I've already forgotten the price. But I had a quick look around and find these at £99 on amazon with free delivery - amazing value for this quality! I think that is definitely cheaper than what I paid. So if you're looking for basic speakers with superb sound quality for your computer, look no further!
